Gone Fishin'

Recently I finished a pin up painting for a friend, who as you can see, is into fishing. I have a tendency to post my finished pieces before the early stages, but this time I think I'll go in order.

These are my rough concepts for the piece.





We went with that last one, then I tied it down as you can see here.

    Looks great! There's always something abut the rough sketches that's hard to top, especially with cute pin up drawings I find. Something abut gestures that seem cuter then when the final shapes are nailed down: ever notice?
