In Progress

A new piece I'm currently working on. Time being as it is I'm not as far along as I'd like, so I thought maybe I'd post it part way through for a change.

In the end the vase will obscure her silhouette much more.

  1. It will be nice if the glass deform the skin like when the face is pressed against a window...

  4. Looks like it will be another great image! Your blog is always a real inspiration!...

I was in Paris for a week in May and was hoping to find French version of your artbook there, with some other cool books. But it looked like it was not out yet.

But - yesterday I (finally!) found the cover image here:

So, it will be out in June? Looking forward to it!

  7. Laurghita,
Yeah, I considered that. I couldn't get it to look right in the drawing so I abandoned it. I also didn't put any kind of deformation from the lens effect of the glass. Hopefully when the form and color of the vase is applied you wont question it.

    Ivar ,
Wow, thanks for those links. I didn't know about that ad.
The book was originally planned for a May release, but it turned out to be June. So we should see it soon.
