Done and delivered to the Berkeley-East Bay Humane Society.
My usual concentrated watercolor on top of acrylic wash technique.
Unusual dimensions for me, but it was fun going that horizontal.
This piece will go up for auction at the "Purr-casso Art and Craft Gala"

ReplyDeleteAnd I love the sketches!
ReplyDeleteIt looks amazing! Really nicely done!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful and fun piece, something about the horizontal nature or the piece has a different and relazing appeal . . . makes you want to take a cat nap. Beautiful. Could you describe your process, the acrylic wash first? Is that the element behind the couch?
ReplyDeleteBest,
MAC
My wife was stressed out on her way out the door for a big presentation and one look at "Catnap" calmed her right down.
