I forgot to mention, since I'll be away to France I will not be able to fill orders for the Belle du Jour book until I return. I should be able to resume filling orders as of the 1st of February. Sorry for the inconvenience.
I've just read "Rex Steele" in the french edition... And it's just great !! I'll try to meet you at Album Bercy or Album Comics... and get a copy of "Belle du Jour" at the same time !
Hey Bill, Hope you have/had a great trip ... and sell lots of "Rex Steele" books. And, I'm still patiently waiting for you to make another bookplate copy of "Belle du Jour" available ...
Oh! I was past week in Paris, If I had known you were going I would have delayed my trip to meet you. What a pity! The french book looks amazing. Congrats.

unfortunately i miss you in Paris...have some questions about differences between this french version and the english original: Is the us version also in full color or black and white ? thanks
Too bad for me, you were too busy signing books when I came to meet you in Angouleme, I didn't want to disturb you at work, and I didn't have time to come again later... Well, I hope we'll meet another time !
I completely agree with you about the French. I've been waiting for Green Manor and Belladone to come in English for a while now. I don't think it's gonna happen...
I bought Rex Steele on dvd, and I loved it! I wish you all the best, and hope to see some sort of animated series in the future.
Jean, It was great meeting you too, I apologize if I flipped out a little. Hope you don't mind me putting your picture on the new post.
Agreda, Thats too bad, I would have loved to meet you in person. I may be going back to Paris in June, possibly then? I'll give you warning.
Airspeed, The US version is in black and white whereas the French one is full color. The US edition lacks two of the stories that are in the French one. But the French one lacks all the pin ups by other artists and the short story drawn by Stephen DeStephano. They both have different sketchbook sections, but share some of the same sketches. The French edition also includes a dvd of the short film.
Reynes, I'm really bummed I didn't get to meet you too. I went over to the Bamboo editions on Saturday or Sunday but they told me you weren't coming back. I did buy two of you "Maitres Nageurs" books though. They're really awesome. But like I said to Agreda, I might be back in Paris in June.
Matt J, There are copies (or at least there were when I was there) of Belle Du Jour at Album on Saint-Germain, the one that has all the import American stuff.
